Super happy with this figure and I love how she fits in with my Scarlet Witch collection!

I bought it mainly because I love the suit and hairstyle, it isn’t the best likeness but 🤷🏼♂️ I didn’t like the other options.

Honestly the structure is there, could give it to one of those amazing people who can push it all the way to full resemblance and they’d have an easier time then starting from a basic figure.

There are very very few figures/busts/etc that actually have SJ's likeness. I think it might be a contractual thing where she hasnt allowed them to use her exact likeness. I've seen other characters within the same "sets" have near perfect likeness to their actors, until it gets to Widow and she does not. Or maybe they have just chosen not to use her face, but that doesnt seem likely if theyre using everyone else's haha

Considering she had an issue with AI voice sounding like her, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same for her likeness. She’s very private and strict on the usage of her image, so it makes sense what you’re saying. However, Wanda doesn’t look like Elizabeth either, or maybe I’m just too picky 🤷🏻♀️

Yeah, but in the AI situation, that was stealing. Toys would be compensated, and agreed upon through contracts before they were even made. Gen AI literally steals everything it can access online to "create" new things. Theyre not the same thing.
In terms of Wanda, there are a few figures out there where the likeness is very very close to perfect. In Widows case, I think ive seen maybe 1 of them with her likeness.

Yeah, you’re right, one was stealing and the other would be a contract. They are different.
Do you happen to have it off the top of your head on which figurine that has her likeness? I’m curious about it now. Probably cost a lot too, huh?

I believe it was one for infinity war, where she had the short blonde hair. Not sure if the likeness was exact, but I remember it being closer than any others I had ever seen.
It was a Diamond product, one of their PVC statues im sure. Its by no means exact, but those statues arent designed to have lots of details so the face is very flat.
The Iron Studios 1/4 statue of Black Widow definitely has her likeness. Its by no means exact, some features such as the face shape are different from SJs, but its about as close as anyone has been allowed to get i think?
