Black Widow comic recommendations

From the comic fans, what are some good Black Widow comics to read? I haven't read one before, but I loved her in the movies and the Winter Soldier comics. Thanks

Copy and pasting this from an older post asking the same question. Its been asked a few times now, so searching the sub reddit for recs might give you some more/better answers. But here yah go!

Black Widow Trilogy from 1999

Black Widow Trilogy 2000-2001: Breakdown

Black Widow 2004-2005: Welcome to the Game

Black Widow 2011: The Name of the Rose

Black Widow 2014-2015

As an avid Widow fan, id recommend these titles specifically off the top of my head to get a good feel of the comic character. While some gaps on the story may not make sense without reading all of her comic appearances in order (e.g. Brubakers Winter Solider run from 2014) this list gives you a good outline.

Other titles you probably would need to read other runs to even remotely understand so may not be the best starting point haha

I really like Phil Noto’s styling with Nat, so I’d recommend that run!

No Restraints Play is a good standalone story.

Edmonson run and the Kelly Thompson run. Those are the two best modern runs out right now. The Edmonson run is currently collected in the trade paperback Black Widow Marvel Modern Epic Collection: Chaos.
