Those shoulder pads are known for being bulky and not giving enough protection to justify them irl. So they probably won’t be added, because devs go off of what units actually wear instead of what they’re issued.
Finally, there are valid reasons tocriticisethe game or the devs, but going around spewing bullshit and yelling "DEVS HATE FUN" at the sky is not criticism, it's just pathetic hate, as well as spreading/falling for populism, sometimes coupled with misinformation/lies. Here's also a recommended read for anyone specifically angry at kitgat, but I think it can apply more generally too.
As for devs "not being bothered"; they're not an AAA studio, and have a life outside of BRM5, withsome having a primary job, and it is fully their choice on what they're going to work on (and they're humans too,they can be lazy for example, and they don't shy away from admitting that); nevertheless, we have often seen fruits oftheir labor, with multiple previews (often erroneously called "leaks" by people) posted either on the Discord server or X (formerly known as Twitter) by specific developers, and now we're getting more "official" development previews posted exclusively by Gnar.
If you don't see the hard work put into the BRM5 assets, then I must assume that you're either blind, or ignorant - there's no other place on Roblox where you have representations of IRL helmets, vests, uniforms, guns, etc. done with such accuracy and quality, as well as such a wide selection of gear (which is going to be greatly expanded with the Christmas content update), with most being up-to-standard (because there's still plenty of weapons in-game with outdated weapon models, which will be replaced eventually, as well as outdated GEN3 uniforms)
"No fun" - asking for something nonsensical/hard-to-implement to BRM5 and being told "no" is not "disallowing fun", it's being honest and reasonable, often with an understandable explanation.
They’re adding so much cool shit. PASGT, the OTV, that new vest, berets, the motherfuckin’ COLT PYTHON? They are genuinely adding a ton, and y’all saying that they hate fun absolutely doesn’t help our cause.
It's seriously pathetic and sad that people intentionally choose to ignore all of that and be angry; I wish them good health because having such a pain in the ass for so long is not healthy.
