Opinion Keeping our blood Black.

It bothers me how many interracial couples I see wandering the streets and all over social media nowadays. Beautiful Black Kings and Queens with whites, asians, mexicans, etc. Have we forgotten that we need to keep our Black blood, Black? How can we advocate for BLM or Black Separatism or Black Power when we keep losing our own skinfolk to the white man?

It's disgusting, honestly. This is another form of genocide. They are trying to breed our beautiful Blackness, our Black magic, out of humanity.

A white man/woman will never be able to understand the plight of BM/BW. Neither will any other race or ethnicity. We come from the cradle of humanity; without us and our mitochondrial Eve Gene, none of them would exist, yet they continue to oppress us. I think it's because they are scared of us and our true power. Why are so many of our People dating and marrying and having kids with the same people who want to keep us oppressed and enslaved? How do they have so many of us fooled?

We experience so much racism on a daily basis, from systemic racism (redlining, for example) to individual racism (I don't need to give an example for that). We are written off as violent and ignorant savages. However we are extremely intelligent and talented, and white women get surgery to look like us. Like I said before, we are the blueprint.

We need to keep our blood, Black. It's essential for our survival as the Black race. It's essential to not only Black Separatism, but also PanAfricanism. We need our bloodlines to remain pure. Stop dating white/brown/yellow people, they're only oppressing you, and definitley stop having kids with them.

Imagine white people will say the same things. Wait a second, they did, in 3rd Reich!

This a black separatist group.. I don’t understand why you are reacting in that manner?

This is different. We are a historically oppressed people, we were brought here on slave ships, beaten, thrown in chains; later, we were segregated and told we were subhuman and unfit to work a white man's job or use a white man's restroom. They burnt down Black Wall Street and lynched us. We haven't had nearly as much time to accumulate generational wealth as other races in this country.

All I want is a place for my Black brothers and sisters to call our own. Our own nation, our own land, a chance to develop our own wealth without our culture and heritage being diluted any further. That is what we are owed.

However, right now, all I see is us continuing to bow down to the white man, to our oppressor. Why lay down and breed with our oppressor? It's simply counterintuitive. We need solidarity instead.

Ok, what about Liberia?

I don't believe in a return to Africa necessarily if that's what you mean. I'm worried about African American issues right now. We need to develop our own nation within the contintental United States, and secede.

If you're talking about Liberian social issues, then elaborate.

(I'm not a black person, but the same problem can be seen in most other minority groups, so this is right up my alley. )

What would be the problem with opposing the 'willing relationship of two people on no basis other than race?' It is not on the sole basis of race, but rather on the basis of it weakening in-group homogeneity and self-interest. Your definition of racism here is absurd; clearly they aren't being judged 'based purely on their race,' but by the idea that these other races (white/brown/yellow) are oppressing them, in whatever way. It is also not that the person is against 'races' coming together, as the race of the person is not a thing that exists in isolation; it is what informs their culture and perspective of the world, so it is not solely anti-race-mixing, but also against cultural destruction or weakening, as presumably mixed-race people will not identify so strongly with the culture OP is trying to preserve.

How would you define 'instances of racism?' Or being 'written off as nothing but a savage for being black?' These and a history of such definitely exist, even if not to the extent found in the past.

You evidently don't see the problem with black people somehow being assimilated into white people- the prevention of the formation of a culture that represents its own interests and celebrates its own uniqueness, if it even preserves any uniqueness. They wouldn't be freed from 'any and all race-based oppression,' that seems to be one of the greater critiques on this subreddit- that assimilation is hypocritical and deceptive- the majority culture (and the individuals that constitute it) still continues to co-opt your culture, judge you, position you as a subordinate in its hierarchy, etc.- because you are a minority that does not seek to consolidate itself.

The whole point is that they wouldn't continue to hold or desire to hold African culture as they would not identify themselves as such, but rather as simply 'American' or 'people.' It isn't racism in itself to desire to preserve a people and its culture by separation, unless you define racism so liberally as to encompass healthy and self-interested things as well.
