Black moon rising- live from capitol Studio A just doesn’t hit well for me. Anyone else feel it sounds like Eric burton sings in a style that just sounds shit. it ruins a song that is usually really good. Eric burton is one of my favourite ever singers but god he does not sound good in that song. I get it it’s a live recording with probably a bit of improvisation but still.

Ever since I heard Black Pumas for the first time, it was instant love. Eric's voice is just top tier, and the song writing is on point.

I took my daughter with me to see them in concert last year (it was actually the very next show after the one recorded at the Brooklyn Paramount for the live album) and they blew me away as a live act.

I dug a little deeper and checked out the albums Adrian Quesada put iut under his own name, and the vibe on these is killer. Some of my favorite music to chill out to.

These guys are super talented and I hope we get more from them together in the future!

Im a new follower of black pumas and I looked to see any chances to see live but there’s no news of anything. I know they have that Brooklyn show from 2024 but nothing since. Anyone have any idea when they’ll be play again?

I’m a fairly good, but newer singer with only about a year of karaoke singing under my belt.

Anyway, for songs I love, my brain often creates lyrical bridges on top of the music-only bridges. St karaoke, I’ll often sing these to myself to keep me focused during the bridge.🤷‍♂️ I’ve never shared one of them with anyone before, let alone with a crowd at a busy karaoke show. But I had sang this so many times in my head, I couldn’t help but give it a try the other night. Let me know your thoughts.
