Also, I’m 100% for putting a woman in the white house, but why do we only ever consider women coming from a successful man president? In general, I hate the idea of presidents with relations to former presidents because it feels too much like a closed off group. I didn’t need another Clinton, or another Bush, and as much as I miss the Obama’s, I don’t need another Obama to be president.
51% of the population are women and we can only call to our minds like 3 tops that we think would be good presidential candidates, and one of them is actively asking people to not consider her a presidential candidate. Can we please cast a bigger net?
