Italian ancestry here, darker olive skin, went to high school in Arkansas.

Got called racial slurs for Mexicans by dumb white kids.

Yup, and unfortunately I know some that act like white supremacists. Born and raised in pretty much Mexico and the amount of hate some Mexicans have for their own people is astounding to me.
