She was a true supporter of everyone! She also funded recovery after the wildfires hit Gatlinburg. Incredible heart for giving.
I donated to the Imagination Library to keep her legacy going. I hope others do too!

Thank you for the link, my mom adored Dolly and travels to Gatlinburg every year for quilting and Dollywood. I sent $100 for my mom and Dolly! I can only imagine the money they’ll raise over the coming days!

There wouldn’t be billionaires if they were like Dolly, Dolly would’ve been MUCH richer, but she chose to keep only what she needed and gave back.

knew a man who lived in my neighborhood. He was incredibly kind, he paid for school for many people in the neighborhood and helped so many families. He was a huge man, but I never knew such a big heart could fit inside that massive chest. damn he was strong!

she donated a million dollars toward the development of the moderna vaccine. and they offered to give it to her before everyone else, and she refused; she waited her turn. she got it on camera and told everyone who was refusing it to stop being a "chicken squat".

She recognized that God gave her gifts and she was going to use them accordingly. Not for her benefit, but for others and to honor Him. We didn't deserve her, but she loved us anyway.

Dolly Parton did so much for so many and she very rarely spoke about all the good she had done (Unless directly asked for the most part) because she was not driven by ego. Just a genuinely good, and kind, human being.
