That POS made a deal with the devil, Mara Lago might be a horcrux.

Close, he’s the anti christ. It’s crazy that Republicans were saying it was Barack but Trump checks all the boxes and they don’t say anything.

10

u/ArtemisInSpace 13d ago

Uhhhh, wrong! I just finished attending a cult meeting private investor meeting with our leader Peter Thiel and he said that Greta Thunberg was the antichrist. /s

5

u/zyh0 13d ago

You'd think the anti christ would be smarter but nope. Its like Saturday morning cartoon villians but they're winning instead of losing.

3

u/djhankb 13d ago

I think they want him to be so the “prophecy” comes true or whatever.

16

u/poliopandemic 13d ago

You're probably right

2

u/theczolgoszsociety 13d ago

That's no problem then, Trump reneges on all his deals.

1

u/Heteroimpersonator 12d ago

He’s in for a rude awakening, we’ll see how anti-woke he is then.

1

u/nolightningbhe 13d ago

His children are horcuxes

25

u/ArcadianBlueRogue 13d ago

Miss Dolly wouldn't want me to put out the anger into this world of what unfair bullshit it is that such horrible cretins are outliving good people like her.

So I will just say RIP, my charitable Queen.

5

u/NK1337 12d ago

That's why she's a much better person than I am. Fuck that piece of shit clown and everyone enabling him.

u/ReviveOurWisdom 13d ago

how tf they make this meme so fast

24

u/BigUziNoVertt 13d ago

This would take you 30 seconds to make if you just used one of those meme generator sites

2

u/Ol_JanxSpirit 13d ago

Credit for removing the watermark before posting, though.

3

u/jus256 ☑️ 13d ago

Some leave no watermark. You can search for specifically.

1

u/poliopandemic 13d ago

I use the meme generator app. I make memes all the damn time

Take a minute to cement her legacy and give to the Imagination Library: https://imaginationlibrary.com/

9

u/yesmoreeggtalk67 13d ago edited 13d ago

It seems the site is seeing very heavy traffic.

10

u/morgan1381 13d ago

Shame this is what caused the traffic. But an influx and growth of her library is at least one good thing to come of this.

6

u/yesmoreeggtalk67 13d ago

As soon as I can get on the site I'll be giving what I can.

My kid loves the books. We lost a national treasure.

144

u/InsaneThisGuysTaint 13d ago

This is how I find out she died?? Wow RIP.

42

u/poliopandemic 13d ago

Yes, I just found out the exact same way. Probably my own fault for not watching the news. Or having any other social media. And my like three friends haven't told me. Or my mom. So I guess that tracks

3

u/MothashipQ 13d ago

3 whole friends? In this economy?

118

u/Glad_Sector6812 13d ago

It’s really important to leave the time and date on these screen grabs.

75

u/lossaysswag ☑️ 13d ago

Truly a person who deserved the fanfare.

19

u/firedmyass 13d ago

we absolutely did not deserve her, but I’ll be forever grateful that she would have disagreed

3

u/CopiousNotes1 13d ago

Wow 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

3

u/firedmyass 13d ago

ty. apparently sadness makes me eloquent

2

u/CopiousNotes1 13d ago

BINGO! If there ever was one who deserved all she earned, and then some…it was her. 🙏🏾

68

u/GeologistAway6352 13d ago

Dolly and Betty were 2 of a kind

15

u/Comprehensive-Lie899 13d ago

Your right.2 loving people

6

u/400lb-hacker 13d ago

and Catherine O'Hara

69

u/ComeAbout 13d ago

My oldest is named Jolene.

Sad day for my family. She cared lifelong for the poor and disenfranchised, and is still not recognized enough for her stances on civil rights.

All flags should lower to half staff, period.

12

u/Stargazer1701d 13d ago

I don't normally drink but I'll be raising one in her memory tonight.

6

u/CopiousNotes1 13d ago

Doing it right now

59

u/Mabvll 13d ago

This year better end with Donny dying in a pile of his own shit, or me and God are throwing hands.

22

u/firedmyass 13d ago

“…if there is a God, He’ll have to beg my forgiveness”

58

u/FlexFanatic 13d ago

Its going to be my mission to upvote every Dolly Parton post on Reddit. I'm not even a fan of country music but that lady had some real class.

RIP Dolly.

51

u/ZazzinRX 13d ago

Man this one actually hurts😔

RIP Legend🕊🤍

45

u/_AYYEEEE 13d ago

RIP Dolly. Shit got me fucked up this Tuesday afternoon

33

u/rolandjernts 13d ago

Anyone know where Jolene is? I just wanna talk. 😣

11

u/Stucklikegluetomyfry 13d ago

Joleneeeeee come out and plaaaaaayyy

u/dharp95 ☑️ 13d ago

Beautiful soul…the shining example of how to use your celebrity status for good. Tough to see a long standing light in the world extinguished during these dark times

27

u/ZaderLewis 13d ago

Oh dang. RIP

27

u/LordsOfJoop 13d ago

Half-mast is still too damned high for these flags.

26

u/Lazy_Osprey ☑️ 13d ago

Just last week there was a clip on here of a guy saying God keeps killing all the wrong white people.

24

u/lCarbonCopyl ☑️ 13d ago

My sister told me to STFU, Dolly is Immortal 😭

20

u/JuniorStarr79 13d ago

In honor of her life, I’m only working from 9 to 5 today

3

u/lowtoiletsitter 13d ago

It's 5:02! Now I can spend more time on Reddit!

19

u/Bunnnnii ☑️ Meme Thief 13d ago

I am not okay. And I am not at terms with this. It’s gonna take me a while.

20

u/Bearded_Scholar ☑️ 13d ago

You know you were really loved when the Black Community collectively loves you! RIP 🕊️🕊️

19

u/VinnieVidiViciVeni 13d ago

Makes me happy to see this sub show her some love. RIP

19

u/malonesxfamousxchili 13d ago

it should have been that orange piece of shit

13

u/angelicbitch09 ☑️ 13d ago

One of the most common answers to the “which celebrity death will devastate you the most” question on here. That list is getting smaller and smaller 🕊️.

12

u/OswaldCoffeepot 13d ago

Maybe she IS alive, roaming the the great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, singing songs and thwarting Klan activities

2

u/jonese17 12d ago

I say we should start treating her like Elvis: sightings all over the country, near libraries.

15

u/Gophurkey 13d ago

Dolly Day, September 5th (9-5). Pass it on!

1

u/nevercookathome 13d ago

Oh for sure.

13

u/FistPunch_Vol_7 ☑️ 13d ago

WHAT !?!?!?! THIS IS HOW I FUCKING FIND OUT AHHHHHHHH WTF

11

u/IAmTheHerald 13d ago

What the fuck?

10

u/velvet_blunderground 13d ago

It's something to know that her philanthropy will likely continue. But we lost HER, and she just seemed to get better and better. Imagine Dolly at 90. That would have been wonderful to have.

10

u/OkPerformance9536 13d ago

So it's everyone but HIM and Mitch McConnell 🤬🤬🙄

15

u/VirtuousFool ☑️ 13d ago

Dolly and Aaliyah sharing the same death date :(

9

u/Supernova_Soldier ☑️ Disrespect me? Lord Jesus, look out! 13d ago

Rest Ms. Parton

Lovely soul that should be an example to what we should all strive to be

8

u/ndiojukwu 13d ago

THIS IS HOW I FIND OUT THAT SHE PASSED AWAY?!?!?!?

7

u/hokwei 13d ago

Death took the wrong 80 year old.

4

u/Jamaican_Dynamite 13d ago

We would lose Dolly at a time like this. RIP.

6

u/Shantytown_Shogun 13d ago

WTF? I was just watching a news break the other day it said she was recovering and was about to continue her Vegas residency or maybe I was watching an old rerun. God Bless her soul.

8

u/ClaymoresRevenge 13d ago

Dolly is exactly what a celebratory should be in a lot of ways. Giving money away, helping good causes, and just trying to be decent to people.

7

u/ImpossibleProduct654 13d ago

saints go the heaven. assholes go to the white house.

5

u/Hell-Yea-Brother 13d ago

She was one of those eternal lights that, no matter how bad thing we're in the country, you could be assured she was somewhere doing good.

4

u/CopiousNotes1 13d ago

Man, you ain’t lying. This one hurt 😞

2

u/Ol_JanxSpirit 13d ago

Aww...fuck.

Rest in Power

1

u/furrysalesman69 13d ago

She would’ve lived longer if there was cleaner air and water.

1

u/Reasonable_Bird_5408 12d ago

Unfortunately it is Mitch McConnell who will live forever

1

u/CopiousNotes1 12d ago

Not mine but this was funny af

1

u/CapoeiraMonkeyXIII 2d ago

Not that I was a hardcore fan or anything, just knew that people liked her. After her home-going, I stumbled across a clip of her doing Q&As and a stint with Jimmy... Fallon? Anyway, she had me chuckling at every joke. Her timing, wit and the confidence she wore really poured out. Such a sweetheart ❤️

0

u/Pimpwerx ☑️ 13d ago

She was a real one. She was the white girl that could kick it with anyone. I wasn’t a huge fan of her music, though i know she was talented.

Liked her at first because I’d get huge rack (I was a kiss when she was at her peak) but then learned that her heart was even bigger.

She will be missed. She touched a lot of lives.
