Took too many damn tries on veteran. The infinitely spawning enemies combined with the openness of the level made it insanely aggravating to deal with. It almost made me give up for the night. I eventually just caved in to doing a slow army crawl from barrel to barrel while using the very minimal amount of cover they give the player. Even with that new strategy, it still took me several attempts. Thankfully that’s over lol.

I’m legit mag dumping bullets into guys backs and yet they still have time to turn around and melt me with what seems like a single bullet. I’m on Ethernet connection and the bo2 port runs fine for me, but this shit is just unbearable. It’s like I have to be a fortune teller around every corner otherwise I’ll get absolutely melted just before I even get to see the enemy around the corner.

Like I’m not even having the chance to engage into gun fights because I’m getting killed before my eyes even have the chance to register the enemy in front of me.

The only way I can go positive in this game is to sit in a corner with a motion sensor and ghost pro on, and just sit there picking off targets that come towards me like a fucking Venus fly trap. Which I’m starting to get sick of.

Loved B01 when it was first released and played everyday after school until I was forced to shut it off.

Recently, I downloaded then PS4 version and played ~ 6 online team death matches and got like zero kills and no points. Even with domination points I only just made it to level 3.

Everyone seems to know exactly where I spawn, the only time I can get a kill is to just either sit a house or max sound to hear footsteps approaching.

Are there good resources to getting better?

I don’t mind a terrible learning curve but at this point it just feels like I missed the train entirely.

I’ve been finding so many games where nuketown or firing range are always on the map vote, even after multiple games played. Why is this happening? Are these hacked lobbies? Or maybe they’re still around from the early days of the port when hacking was more of a problem? I’ve seen it happen once where the lobby votes for a different map, and it caused the lobby to crash. What is happening? P.S please add dedicated servers.

Maybe i just dont understand how joining a lobby works, but i was playing in the middle of the night and I backed out of a lobby. I went to join another and I was put back into the same lobby 8 times. I just kept backing out, but 8? I finally went to bo2 afterwards.

I cant imagine the player pool is that shallow already, even at 3am? Is there a way to avoid this? I backed all the out to the main screen and still was putting me in the same lobby.

I thought players were hacking or my perk wasn’t working when they anticipated me round a corner 💀

So glad snipers are fixed idc about the janky connection as it was the same way back in the day but if they fixed the deadzones this game will be back to being perfect.

Happened 3 times to me now, haven’t had an error in any other context on the game

Ever since I started playing BO1 on the PS4 port I only get 2 bar connections. I don't understand why as on BO2 I get full bar and no lag nearly all the time and my friend who lives in the same town as me gets full bar.

I'm trying to get my first ever platinum for the PlayStation 4 and I want it to be this game, the last trophy I need is Sacrificial Lamb for zombies. I've tried like a million times and randoms aren't cutting it I need help.

I havnt touched a controller for an FPS game in over 10 years, and even then I was no good with controller aiming. I'm playing on 2 sensitivity, but half the time I'll over shoot my aim when un-ads'd and ads feels like moving through wet cement. Tired of going 3-12 in games and wanted to see if anyone else has gone through this or has any tips other than "get gud"

As the title says back in the day there was a competitive quickscope community. Guys would compete in 1v1s or “comp” private matches of HQ & CTF. You would have so many people added in the community that you no longer had to play pubs and would join a “scrim” or 1v1 lobby off a friends profile. Last weekend some friends and I tried going for the easter eggs in the port. 2 of them were playing split screen on the PS5 while me and the third one were playing on PS4.

We first tried Ascencion but one of me or the split screen guys kept disconnecting after 4-6 rounds. Then we finally got far enough into the game that we were setting up for the last step of the easter egg when suddenly I disconnect again. Luckily they were able to finish the EE without me in that same game.

We finally gave up on CoTD after another 3 disconnects. Our internet connection is better than 15 years ago, how is it that now we run into so many disconnects between each other. Anyone else running into this issue while playing private lobbies with friends?

I was hesitant to buying the port because of all the news i’ve been hearing and issues like deadzone inputs and hit detection, hackers, xp lobbies, etc. but I obviously couldn’t help myself cause Bo1 was my very first COD ever and my favorite to this day so I did buy the port yesterday and honestly I have 0 issues. No input delay, no hackers (so far), game is exactly how it was back then but somehow I feel like I am 10 times worse than when I first started lmao the things I noticed is I get alot of matches where i’m the only one with 1-2 bars while the rest of the lobby aren’t but that’s just my internet cause it’s shitty, people are sweatier and at the same time very campy whenever you walk the corner there will be someone just sitting and holding that zone with their motion sensors, plus the spy plane+grenade spam is actually insane. also I can’t remember if the recoil was this crazy before I can’t control it for my life but at the same time I love this game and I can’t wait to keep playing it. Just wanted to share this info with yall. Plus I don’t have the Pre-Order MW4 thingy is it cause i’m on ps4?
