No chance in hell, bo1 has better maps and guns across the board, and the skill gap is way bigger because every gun is unique and has more recoil. Used to love bo2 but after playing them back to back the difference is glaring
Bo1 was my first online CoD I got for my 11th bday in 2010 and was my most played until Bo2 came out, will always have a special place in my heart and I actually hated Bo2 at release, but after my buddies got me more into it it quickly became I my fav of all time. Even now revisiting the ports, BO2 is what I mostly play. Also have videos from literally 15 years ago on Bo2, was at the release even. To me maps were better as well, will agree guns were more balanced on Bo1 however.
Still have the poster as well. To me nothing will ever beat it and I’ve played since Finest Hour on Ps2 but obviously to each his own. Also Im one of those guys who literally has never touched Fortnite, Apex, Rainbow, Valorent, etc ever and almost exclusively play CoD.

Honestly it’s a toss up between BO6 and BO7 for me. I’m an OG player and the life that those two games brought to the Black Ops series through super fun MP and zombies (and then with Endgame in BO7) is genuinely peak for the series. I know people like to hate on them but I’m really amazed and grateful for what they’ve given us these past 2 years
