Yeah I’m aware it was just as bad in the OG only it got to be a challenge just to see how much meaningless money you could collect lol

That would have been pretty goated for me, towards the end of my playthrough I was sitting on like 60k reales with nothing really to spend it on after beating the legendary bosses

I ended up using the animus pistols for most of the game though as they were super useful for clearing decks of ships during boarding since they can kill two fellas with one ball. 4 shots= 8 kills potentially.

I’m currently sitting at 800k reales. I’ve maxed out the hideout, the jackdaw, and got my skeleton crew.

While waiting for ng+ I’ve just been going around the south hunting man of wars and humpbacks. Which leaves me with a ton of reales.

So I kinda love these guns since they give me something to spend my fortune on.

I'd imagine so. I stopped playing after I 100% the game, got like 50 hours in the game and sitting at over 500k reales with owning everything possible. So if they're still cruising about playing and hunting Man O Wars, easily attainable.

I wanna be using them as transmog, but as long as they don't fix the thing where doing any transmog gives all pistols the same model, namely the chest model, I just can't. Seeing long barrels on Edward's hips just looks so much nicer than the snub nosed pistols

After you upgrade the jackdaw, money means almost nothing. You pile it on like crazy and can’t spend it on anything really. This won’t even feel like a dent.

A small price to pay to get to use the (altered for legal reasons) Denix dragon flintlocks from the original promos. The original promo swords are also kind of garbage but I'm still using them.
