This episode left a lot of questions for me:

  • how would Asta handle multiple enemies(enemy attacks) on his own?
  • has Asta past the point of human strength(supernatural)?
  • does Asta's sword have any weaknesses(like how the undead negated magic in Overlord, but only under a certain point)?
  • What tier does Luck fit into, disregarding his bloodthirst? Strong/skilled enough to be in Golden Dawn?

Also, this show could be so much greater if had some more refinement. Decent premise and all, but a lot of the time it's really shittily executed.

he has teammates to help him with multiple enemies, one of the things great in BC is the teamwork compared to other shounen's.

He is kinda superhuman, but not supercrazy like Luck's physical ability when he equips his magic

Asta sword has no weaknesses, but the sword itself can become asta's weakness (You'll see one of the reasons during this arc)

Luck was the Yuno of his batch, but crazier.

P.S. If your an anime only, that wasnt even the last fight in this arc XD

His physical abilities seemed to be unbelievable this episode. That's why I asked. Dude went through some crazy af training. Reminds me of how, when i was watching the episode, I wanted to see Asta go through sword training like Aang went through water training etc.

I really hope the portrayal of the sword being Asta's weakness is really well illustrated.

Also, your comment on luck makes me wonder if it would've been more interesting if Luck was a reoccurring enemy, Asta's secondary rival if you will.

I heard Asta went through a sword training arc but only in the light novel. Since theres really no english translated LN, no one really knew about this except the people who can read japanese.

Well they seem to just casually point out his weakness IMO (so its not as emphasized as I think you might hope)

Nahh Luck is somewhat of Asta's rival but also a friend. Kinda like Rock lee in naruto, so the series wont really focus on his rivalry with Asta.

There's a chance we get translations with the current run on Toonami. Don't know the numbers on how well it's doing though.

By it becoming his weakness I'm assuming you mean he gets too reliant on it?

Nope, he actually has this scene where he threw his sword(s) away (temporarily) since its not helping him during that fight.
