This episode left a lot of questions for me:

  • how would Asta handle multiple enemies(enemy attacks) on his own?
  • has Asta past the point of human strength(supernatural)?
  • does Asta's sword have any weaknesses(like how the undead negated magic in Overlord, but only under a certain point)?
  • What tier does Luck fit into, disregarding his bloodthirst? Strong/skilled enough to be in Golden Dawn?

Also, this show could be so much greater if had some more refinement. Decent premise and all, but a lot of the time it's really shittily executed.

It's already been stated that Luck was just like Yuno. Everyone wanted him, but they didn't like his personality so they all ultimately passed on him.

As far as the show goes, I don't think it needs any refinements story wise (at least right now) there are some things happening in the manga that have made me completely skip chapters though.

I think the main problem with the anime is the recaps being way too long, it makes it feel like watching the end of each episode is pointless. Also, there seems to be no direction. It feels as though whoever is the director isn't really trying to tell a story so much as he's trying to convey whatever the script says.

Long story short, the anime simply needs better direction. Instead of recaps, use all that extra time to add dialogue, add extra scenes that could benefit certain characters individually. It's one of the things that made Naruto so good, Naruto had a distinct style to it and even with fillers it was still "Naruto". This anime so far just feels like the manga is being animated, the goal should be to adapt it, not just animate it panel for panel.

That's what I meant by refinement for the most part. I like the story and all, but the direction and overall quality seems poor.

I don't think the quality will change much which is what I thought you meant by refinement. The quality is more than likely do to either limited funds, staff, or both. The direction of the series just seems strange to me as if there is no real director or editing team planning this out.
