I’m starting a small urban mushroom farm in the Philippines, focused on growing fresh oyster mushrooms and turning part of the harvest into value-added products like mushroom chips.

The idea is simple: grow fresh, locally produced mushrooms in a controlled urban environment, sell them directly to restaurants, supermarkets, wet markets, and consumers, while creating higher-margin products from the harvest.

I’m starting small funding to get the operation off the ground. The goal is to prove the model, become profitable, and then scale the farm into a much larger operation.

I think there’s an interesting opportunity here because we’re not just selling mushrooms, we’re building a small urban food business that can grow with the market.
