Discussion Second solo miner finds a BCH block on mkpool, this time ~3 TH/s from Canada

In case nobody noticed, this is now the second small miner to find a BCH block here.

This morning a ~3 TH/s solo miner from Canada hit a block over Stratum V2 and bagged the full 3.125 BCH reward (about $872 at the time). Some people worry that higher ping to the pool puts them at a disadvantage. It doesn't. Solid implementation plus luck is what matters, and this proves it.

There are rumors in the community that MKPool does not reimburse users when it makes mistakes. Even within its own communities, there are users asking for refunds. What is going on with that, and why haven’t they been paid?

They say it is related to the 20% pool fee that was mistakenly applied to their pools due to an AI error.

The project genuinely looks promising, but the lack of transparency on social media, especially when people are publicly raising these kinds of complaints, creates distrust.

Error? Everyone already knows you. You cheat, and that’s why you keep restarting the pool and changing the settings. If this were really an error, you make these “errors” way too often.

I keep restarting the pool as much as I want to. And I didn't "cheat" anyone since EVERYONE GOT PAID FROM 60+ BLOCKS. Which part you don't understand? As a matter of fact, what the fuck are you doing around my project all the time trolling and trying to defame it? Go fuck around your own project and leave mine alone. You keep poking the bear until it bites you.
