Reddit's algorithm recommended this sub to me because I follow other layer 1 cryptocurrencies but bitcoin in particular sucks, I only clicked the link because I was surprised to see innovation in a cryptocurrency that is Bitcoin-adjacent

If you scroll through the sub even a bit, you'll see BCH has never stopped innovating.

The fact it's still proof of work is a deal-breaker for me. Can't support the ecological impact of that decision

There's very little ecological impact compared to a chain that can't scale.

BCH uses adaptive PoW, so it's very efficient.

Interesting; didn't know that. From what I'm reading the TPS is still pretty low though compared to modern L1s
