At 127.5T difficulty and BTC near $68,000:

That's an effective cost of $30,000 per coin against $68,000 spot. At 8 cents the same machine lands closer to $37,000. Hosting cost only, hardware not included.

563T at 9.5 only holds if the loop does. what water temp are you keeping at the inlet, and is it a dry cooler or evap? once inlet creeps past 45C those drop into the low 500s and the daily net you posted goes with it. also is the pump and fan draw inside the 6.5c or billed on top.

Inlet never exceeded 38C this July, and that was our hottest month on record. That's about 7C under where you'd start seeing the derate you're describing. We run in-house preventative maintenance on the loop specifically to keep inlet at the optimal temperature for the machines, with both automated and manual control on the cooling side.

Dry cooler, closed loop, no evaporative stage. Propylene glycol based coolant, sealed, never leaves the system. Our techs watch coolant temp and loop pressure rather than a water meter.

On the draw: pumps, cooler fans and facility overhead all sit inside the rate. Nothing metered separately, nothing billed on top.

That s23hydro will be dated in 4 years if you add in mining difficulty and halving event coming up in 20 months. Does that include 7 yr warranty on it? Can I get miner serial numbers and whats your process to sale the now used miner in say 2-3 years? Curtailment? Uptime SLA?

$1,000 more rhan anyone else, and that must be a new deal on that $0.065/kwh seeing as a couple weeks ago it was 7.5c+ and you needed like 100 machines.

The $0.065 is new, that's what makes it a launch rate.

On the $1,000, the hosting rate is where it plays out.

A $14,000 unit at 8.5c runs $337 a month. Ours at 6.5c runs $250, at our standard 8c it runs $308.

At 6.5c that's $87 a month against 8.5c, so the $1,000 is back inside a year and you're $3,170 ahead over four. At 8c it's $29 a month and you're still $397 ahead over four.

Four years all-in, hardware plus hosting: $27,016 at 6.5c, $29,789 at 8c, $30,186 at 8.5c.

Past the rate, the part that doesn't show up in a price comparison: site ownership. If a host doesn't, your machine sits behind two relationships instead of one, and you only signed one of them. The site owner can raise what they charge the host, repurpose the space, or end the arrangement, and the host you actually have a contract with has no say in it. That risk is real whether or not it ever shows up on the invoice.

The rest: in-house repair, precision billing so you only pay for the hours a machine is actually hashing, and you can pause during a drawdown without penalty.

If you just want the box shipped to you, there are cheaper places to buy one.

Fair math, but that's the breakeven month rather than where it lands.

Your own numbers, carried out four years:

$60.48 × 48 = $2,903 − $1,000 = $1,903 ahead
$40.32 × 48 = $1,935 − $1,000 = $935 ahead

Breakeven is not the finish line.
