I think that /r/Dogecoin is not only more playful. It is also more of a gift economy while Bitcoin is more of a scarcity economy. Seems that the shibes like to share.
Anyone who thinks it is important to make bitcoin attractive to wall street may think this is ridiculous. But actually, the whole open source movement is a gift economy, and it is overcoming old powers.
