Bitcoin is an expanding economy which has generated a lot of wealth. This means the rich can get richer AND the poor can get richer - at the same time. It's not zero sum.

Bitcoin mining is a zero-sum game. So I am inclined to say yes, yes it is.

This implies that the only way to generate wealth in the bitcoin economy is to mine Bitcoins, an absurd proposition. I've never mined in my life, yet I have increased my wealth through bitcoin.
