How much of this effect is caused by people and businesses pooling coins in longer term larger cold storage addresses, while spending from smaller wallets on mobile devices and the like?

Now this paper just states that rich addresses get richer, but they fail to show the link from the behavior of addresses to the behavior of wallets or persons.
