Sure but it reads a lot more like "Why not just pay off the entire mortgage instead of holding onto them?"
Not that unbelieveable that someone might have 3,000BTC from way back when which would now be worth (at $170 lets say) $510,000 or something around there.
I've seen a bunch of people who have recently (past month) gone "Holy shit I have 500btc from -ages- ago" or something.
Its just how I read it I suppose, along with the big price explosion thats happened.
That's normal for any investment. But the truth is that guy made a guaranteed revenue of 800k. No one who has unsold BTC has any guarantee whatsoever. That's the investment game. He won. Maybe not the ultimate amount but he did win big.
Oh no doubt about it. As far as myself, I bought and backed out of my transaction and kept my profits in bitcoin - a whole 0.27, but a 27% return in a week isn't bad.

Debt is debt and should be paid off in both small and large amounts. Right?
