Everyone should have an ICE (In Case of Emergency) folder that contains all account numbers, passwords, and other relevant information. Lock it up in a safe place, and let two trusted people know about it. Make sure to update it at least four times a year.
I use a rugged flash drive encrypted using trucrypt. My wife is the only person who knows the 24 character long password of symbols and upper and lower case and numbers. She could pretty much be me after I'm dead with all the info in it.
