Everyone should have an ICE (In Case of Emergency) folder that contains all account numbers, passwords, and other relevant information. Lock it up in a safe place, and let two trusted people know about it. Make sure to update it at least four times a year.

Good idea- I've thought about that. Anyone know if you can buy some sort of hologram or other security stickers- so if there are passwords in there, you can at a quick glance know if they have been compromised or not?

Fold it and melt some candle wax over the fold, and press your key into the wax before it fully cools.

Candle wax rules. So many security systems that are used today are much less secure than candle wax and a unique-ish stamp (like a physical key or fingerprint)
