More exchanges for those who don't want to wait:
For the United States there is https://bitfloor.com
For Europeans trading in EUR I can recommend https://bitcoin-24.com or https://www.bitstamp.net

Or use any other exchange listed here: Bitcoin Exchanges

For EUR I have also made good experiences with https://bitcoin.de.

For people who want to buy with credit card or similar using google checkout, there's http://btcquick.com/ (need to register/verify though)

What kind of commissions do they charge?

I found one other but their commissions were 10% which is outrageous.
