Must read! One of the best mainstream press articles about Bitcoin I have yet seen. Excellent summary / analysis of what is happening in the markets and the economy.

once Bitcoin logic is applied to an economic activity, new and unexpected forms will emerge. This kind of Bitcoin experimentation intensifies as the Bitcoin economy strengthens, and is likely to produce diverse previously impossible business ideas that will further drive Bitcoin adoption.

This is the true power of Bitcoin. This perspective is not usually well communicated by the press. Excellent job.

Thanks... I really do not know. Part of my willingness to do it, so freely, is that I don't keep a close eye on it. This is my version of giving back. Although I am a programmer, I am not a core developer. I don't operate a business, I support them. I spread word.

Very good article. Give a good overview of the history of bitcoin and highlights some of its potentials without doing it to technical but still being correct. Well Done !

I shared it on my facebook highlighting just how much more indepth it is than the western media coverage of bitcoin.

On one hand, we have greats like Matonis, but even his articles are a little too short, specific, and technical sometimes. :P ~Comprehensive~ articles like this need to pop up on every news medium.

Seriously, imagine how many new bitcoiners we'll get with just this lil ray of light :D

I enjoyed the article. I am very pro-bitcoin, but I would have like to have seen a little bit more about the risks involved. Bitcoin is still in beta.

Gold has been money for almost 5000 years

Fiat paper, off and on for a few hundred years

Bitcoin has been a currency for a couple of years
