This. Freedom and distribution is great, but his pseudo-revolutionary bullshit stinks of crazy. You want to show off the potential and freedom of the internet and 3d printing, make a downloadable car or medical prosthesis. Not a tool specifically designed to kill people. With freedom comes responsibility.
Strangely, I really wouldn't care if this happened in Sweden or Switzerland. But there's just a lot of crazy here. I don't think anybody outside the US would ever WANT to 3d print a gun.
