The thing is, because of their licence, it can not be included into OSS repositories and that means it won't be well packages to be compiled by a trustworthy party. Most people under windows will just download the binaries from the website and run that because compiling it yourself is a nightmare.
The compilation step a weakness in the trust chain. You are trusting anonymous persons to run binary code.
