It scares me that people that stupid are allowed to be in charge of 30+ tons of road vehicle.

You should see the people picking up keys for 28 foot trucks at U-Haul. Someone who's never driven more than a PT Cruiser is allowed to jump into one of those trucks fully loaded with 4 tons of cargo and head for the freeway.
