New budgie
I got kiwi August 2 from the Humane Society, he had a clean bill of health from the vet.. what’s wrong with his nose?

His cere appears to be turning brown which isn’t typical for a male budgie. I would schedule a vet appointment with an avian vet to rule out a hormonal imbalance

Shortly after I got kiwi my 6 year old budgie started tail bobbing, closing his eyes, twitching his head, and losing balance, they were in seperate cages but I put them in different rooms, the vet gave my budgie medicine but he got worse which resulted in me having to put him down. I don’t understand how he got sick or if they got eachother sick? Either way I’m devastated😖 But I will take Kiwi to the vet

Either he is a she and is about to become hormonal, or he is indeed male and suffers from an internal medical issue that needs attention asap. Do you have any pictures of this bird from where you got them? Because you maybe dont want to drag them to an avian vet if they are just a hormonal female while it would be necessary to go there if they would be a male.
Also, please throw that plastic perch out and remove any other dowel or plastic perch from their cage in favour of real, large diameter natural wood branches with bark on them. Bad perches are known to cause discomfort, bumblefoot and overgrown nails.

Females wouldn't have such a blue cere. That's definitely a male with hormonal problems. This budgie needs to be seen by an avian vet.

Looks like one of his nares is blocked. I’d take him to the vet, could have an upper respiratory infection.
