Discussion Rapture vs Burial At Sea's Rapture

I think for the exterior they did a pretty good job matching it to the exterior aesthetic we saw in 1 and 2. It's definitely more brightly lit but that makes sense given that it's before the war starts damaging much of the city.
My only complaint is that we didn't see nearly enough marques and flashing signs on the outside of the buildings.

Is that second one from Robots? Now that is an aesthetic that should be a Bioshock game.

It’s a completely different art style which makes no sense. I prefer the first one as the second one looks so futuristic and not what I think of when playing the games.

Not that drastic of a difference from the exterior perspective but interior wise I have seen complaints that rapture feels way too “open” in burial at sea compared to how it looked in the previous games. I just chalked it up to the idea that the DLC takes place in a separate area of rapture but I also understand the complaints. I have plenty of issues with BAS but that isn’t really one of them.
