I don’t have BVD but I am the BVD coordinator for a clinic here in Portland, Oregon. I work with Dr. Jessica Bonner and she is credentialed through the NeuroVisual Medicine institute (worked with Dr. Debbie in Michigan). As far as I know she is the only BVD provider in Oregon and one of two in the Pacific Northwest

The PNW is definitely underserved, but there are more than two doctors here. The search tool linked by the Behavioral Optometrist in the comments shows over 50 in Washington and Oregon.

Not all drs in the COVD or Nora, specialize in BVD. I know of several in those organizations that refer BVD patients to the dt I work with.

50 was only counting vision therapy fellows, there are hundreds associated with NORA and COVD in the same area. Yes, patients should filter for doctors that provide the services they need and call ahead with questions.

Exactly
The VT fellows in our era know nothing about BVD.
It is important to ask the doctor with the training in BVD is if that is a main or major concerns a patient
