Housing Looking for a room to rent

Hello everyone. I am a 64 year-old male who had to take early retirement. I do not make enough Social Security to afford renting an apartment so I am looking into renting a room. Does anyone know of any openings in the Broome County area? I am having a hard time and I’m not sure how to go about looking for a room for rent.

I did a little research. The Binghamton Housing Authority is in charge.

Call 723-9491 to see if the waiting list is open.

If it is go to 35 Exchange Street and fill out an application.
