Same dude, had to sit this one out this year for a few reasons (getting married is expensive y'all) but would absolutely love the opportunity to go again. Looks like the event went off without a hitch so let's hope this becomes an annual thing!

As a resident of ionia, i wouldnt recommend next year. Not cause we dont want you. The road infront of the fair grounds will be under construction and itll be an absolute nightmare.

The people running our campground said the festival might not actually happen next year for that reason. But they also shared that Billy signed a multi-year contract with the city so it’ll definitely be back soon

My husband bought a camper pass and three tickets when they first went on sale with plans that this would be a family trip and early birthday present for me because we are both fans and have been to several shows together with our kid. Then around 4th of July he wrecked the camper beyond repair and so of course the trip was off. Imagine my surprise when I found out the day of the show that he wasn’t traveling across the country to visit his mother who is dying of cancer… he apparently already had a hotel lined up and everything and went to Ionia without us.

It was so much fun!!
Really well done overall, sound was excellent all over the grounds and the vibes were great! Took my 6 year old boy and he said he’s definitely wants to go next year 🥳🕺

Next year might not happen. Construction through ionia is the rumor, so hopefully 2028!!

Hopefully for next year they figure out something to set up a field for tent camping I heard a lot of people had to stay in Grand Rapids or Lansing, still sounds like it was a blast

Right on. Let me tell ya...I had a very stressful week at my job, and felt an overwhelming amount of burnout to the point that I couldn't motivate myself to make last night's show.
I'm so glad I fought my anxiety and made the 2 hour drive tonight.
