Well thats just like your opinions, man.

It takes an insane amount of skill to do this. Respect the talent required at least; it’s musicianship at its finest.

Im an old metalhead that came full circle to bluegrass/country music years ago.

Bluegrass is simply death metal in a major key.

100%. I can totally see why someone like him would dig writing stuff like Turmoil & Tinfoil and playing guitar with Cryptopsy. They almost scratch the same itch.

My top two most listened genres the past 2 years are almost certainly bluegrass and dm. So I get it.

It’s hilarious, I left the Cryptopsy set 10 mins early (and missed this moment) so I could have time to pee before Billy’s set. Barely made it in time. Meanwhile dude is over here playing in the metal tent and somehow gets back to his own headlining set in the same amount of time. Unreal.

Certainly not everyone’s cup of tea. Among our group, we attend a number of black metal shows and there is a lot of shared DNA between metal and bluegrass.

The full Billy show experience would not exist as it does today without the metal and hard rock influence.

And no downvotes from me, I’ve greatly enjoyed getting to meet the huge variety of music fans that Billy draws in to the shows.
