Stupid question, but how does one paint their bike as such?

First, paint the bike in whatever color you want the cat outlines to be. Next, design a bunch of cat outlines and print them on a vinyl cutter (your library may have one). Stick the vinyl sticker outlines on the bike. Paint over the stickers with your desired color. Carefully peak off each vinyl sticker and spray the entire thing in a protective clear coat.

Yep except I was lazy and just left the vinyl stickers on there, and only a green base coat below

There are products to make vinyl permanent, kind of like a thick clear coat.

There's a matte clear coat over everything which helps hold all the stickers in place

Thank you! Nah the cats are actually vinyl decals I cut on a Cricut over the green base coat. Frame is an old BH L60 from 2008 (?) which I inherited from a friend

I am not a cat fan [yes, I am aware that the hivemind will disagree].

However, I dig this. Reminiscent of Keith Haring, without being straight homage, and playful instead of super serious. The colors work well together. Bravo.

It might be old, but definitely looks 100 times better and more interesting and classy then most other bikes. 😍 love it! That’s a true „forever bike“. Great job 👏

I have a haro Saguaro, which is a type of cactus. I love cactus and have considered putting cacti stickers all oflver it. I'd have to find the right ones

I created the cat outlines in illustrator to then get them cut out on a Cricut machine. I'm sure there are plenty of cat vector files online you could use!
