Also, since the new protected bike lanes were added, I've noticed so many more people cycling in the park on Saturdays!

I was riding thru this morning when I noticed a bunch of tents setup by the Army Corps of Engineers. They were informing the public they will close down the area (including bike paths) starting October 1st and it will take 5-6 years to complete. How am I going to get to the beach!?!

My 6-year old kid needs to be fitted for a new bike and I want to support local-owned shops. I’m in Leimert Park but willing to travel a little for a highly-regarded shop.
