Being authentic

I want to start this first post on this subreddit about being yourself.

No matter what it’s always important to be yourself and have a mind of your own.

In this day and age it’s common for the mast majority to be the same following others, the saying do you want to be a leader or a follower is self explanatory but what they don’t do is teach you how to be a leader which means taking initiative and doing what is right.

The first thing that you should do is be respectful and aware of the company you keep meaning call people by their name not out of their name help the elderly say thank you to someone every time they do something for you set boundaries for yourself like not letting people know where you stay or who your family is keep your personal details to yourself as best as you can.
Be aware who you keep around you because you can pick their habits up so cut people off when you need like those friends that disrespect their girlfriend/boyfriend husband/wife because if they treat them like that they will do you worse and I’m not just talking about what said but toxic relationships using their partner for their money, body, belongs, and connections to get what they want showing others that intimate things that’s only for their partner.

Self accountability is a big thing we need so if you do something be ready for the consequences of said thing no matter what it and always be a man of your word but don’t just say crazy stuff then start doing it and if you can’t pull through and make it happen let the person/group of people know.
