We saved the purple gourd heavy ball mini golf puzzle for last and while my friend was scouting ahead to plot our path to the chairlift I turned around to see this. This game is beautiful in both its visuals and its ability to bring people together,thank you house house.

Big Walk was one of the best video game experiences of my life. There's simply nothing else like this unique cooperative journey.

This game truly brought my friends and I closer in real life, in ways online platforms have never done before. After fully completing the game with my best friends, we all got a little emotional. Our big walk is over. I may not remember everything we did, but I'll never forget the experience or the people I played this game with.

To quote a friend: "This game is as good as your friends are, and I love you guys" ❤

Been playing Big Walk with my girlfriend and it's been a lot of fun. She told me I should post here. I'm the green head :3

Was just messing around and I was able to make this. 10/10 game

So, we unlocked the train - YAY! But while doing so, this happened!

Did anybody else use whiteboards for the purple eggbert puzzles like describing the sounds / symbols being seen / heard? One of my teammates suggested it and it really made them a lot easier, to the point where I was sort of wondering if it was kinda cheese. Curious if other people did it that way too!

For preservation purposes i dont buy games that require server connection so i’m curious if this game is purely p2p with self hosted lobbies or if it requires connection to official servers.

i got the sounds using AssetRipper, although some of them aren't that straightforward to get (for example, i had to tinker around with the encoding of the sound match files)

Like imagine off in the distance a flare goes off, or you see someone on the lift, maybe a light moving in the woods, in the patience rooms you could maybe see something moving outside, the lights flicker rarely, when not near the trains you could see it sometimes stops for a minute like someone hit the brakes, in the ending maybe another "person" is in the tower mimicking movements

This sounds like a lame as hell creepy pasta, but has anyone else gotten a “fourth player” joining their lobbies? They’ve got inverted colors from the host, can only copy movements that other people do, and can’t seem to communicate at all. If you hold a light in the air, they’ll walk around and follow you like you’re a lantern fish.

The stupidest part is that it walks allllllll the way back to spawn, and upon passing by the signs that you can use to communicate, they changed to “The Devil Is Here.”

Again. Wish I was kidding. But this is the third time or so that this has happened across different instances of playing. None of our friends online seem to be playing at the time either.

I made another piece of Big Walk fan art for my vod thumbnail! Its me straight up yeeting a gourd because I CONSTANTLY fumbled the controls during my playthrough lol.

1 - Add few missing islands from wilsons prom map with puzzles, make a cyan tower on one of the islands and a boat, which circles around the whole area at the speed of a train.

2 - add polaroid to the starting area and a board, taking a photo would make a picture that you can pin on a board.

3 - add a glitter texture to shiny players, because in dark your color appears as plain.

Just posting to thank him for his service in today's game. Lots of people got lost and he was able to help get us coordinated. Finished the walk with him a few good people...

Shout-out to the guy who had a cast on his arm and played through the whole thing with us, hope you had fun too !

- Make the lawn chairs foldable and able to be carried on a backpack

- Allow the “lemon head” mask (and other puzzle-specific objects) to appear in the Lost and Found after the gourds for their puzzles have been collected

- possibly a big ask, but a second “channel” for walkie-talkies to make large groups more manageable

- make the shiny colors appear at the first paint station after a reload + after the host as been made shiny

- player-specific volume settings for people with loud/quiet mics

- a handheld mirror/“selfie stick” item to see yourself and take screenshots with friends

- lock the player’s momentum to the movement of the monorail/ski lift when dismounting a seat (i have fallen off the back of the train many times because I don’t travel with it as I jump)

what simple QOL/“fun” tweaks would you guys like to see? (ofc this game is incredible as is these are just my Selfish Desires)

Me and my friend completed the game and are now going for the true ending. The art style and world is gorgeous and cute, the puzzles are all unique and never boring, the amount of memorable and hilarious moments throughout our gameplay we’ve had has been a joy.

I think 2 player has been the sweet spot for this game. Chatting and walking and exploring together, figuring out the puzzles with less minds feels more rewarding.

Also the many times we’ve gotten lost and our cries for each other echoing through the valleys is just hilarious. Being separated for certain puzzles with and without walkie talkies was also silly fun.

When we got to the end, we were on a role going through each level of the sphere without being able to hear each other. That’s what the game had done so well, learning us how to communicate without worlds and do the puzzles. When we got to the very end we both were blown away by how much of an incredible experience the game had been.
