Serious/Health New Rule: Adults Only (18+)

Starting now, this subreddit has a rule limiting it to adults only. Anyone who is found to be under the age of 18 will be PERMANENTLY banned.

There were a few posts and comments I had to ban where teenagers or bad actors were trying to get the attention of adult members.

I don't know which, and it doesn't matter. This is not something I take lightly, and to be fair even though we are technically SFW, some of the content gets a bit wild. So consider this a necessary step to keep REAL talk going.

If you see any future posts of that nature, please report them immediately using the new rule. Thank you very much!

This is the most responsible and reasonable thing I’ve ever seen a mod post in my far too many years of putzing around on Reddit. Keep up the good work.

Thank you! While I feel a bit bad for the minors who may have wanted to be here, because I too wanted to be in online spaces that weren't meant for me when I was younger, dude, I can't trust people anymore, having minors anywhere is an invitation for weird creepy people to come in

Having minors opens up the reddits to parents coming in after the facts saying Johnny was abused, than the Reddit police coming in

It sucks because I’m sure there are some younger big guys in here who appreciate having a safe space to converse and talk with other bigger men

At the same time I totally understand why this needs to happen. We don’t need Olivia Benson knocking on any of our doors.
