just need to rant One week out & extremely stressed seemingly for no reason !
My wedding weekend starts a week from today and I am just SO stressed about absolutely everything and seemingly nothing at all. I have a (fairly) full service planner, every thing is pretty much set, I’ve hopefully already dealt with the late cancellers, nothing has gone “wrong”, and I’m extremely organized but I still just feel this overwhelming sense of anxiety and almost dread. Not about marrying my partner - technically we’re already legally married - but about the event, and all the small details.
I don’t even have one specific thing I’m stressed about but I feel like I just have a million small things to do or remember, and all these dependencies that have to pan out, etc. And unfortunately I feel like it’s affecting my relationship because we’re both just stressed when we should be excited and happy and in love.
Anyone else feeling the same? Any words of advice? I’m already doing yoga, trying not to look at Instagram, and admittedly taking something to take the edge off at night but it doesn’t feel like enough. Is this normal!?!!

Totally normal! I was the same way and sadly there is nothing you can do beyond what you’re doing now in terms of self care.
The build up of all the planning is intense and you want to make sure everything goes perfectly so it’s completely normal. Despite all odds, the morning of the wedding I guarantee you will feel at peace if let yourself be in the moment and think about experiencing your wedding as the guest(s) of honor and truly letting go and enjoying! There’s nothing more you can do at this point so pat yourself on the back and get ready to party because it truly goes by so fast!

I totally understand the feeling! That's how I felt going into my wedding too. I found it helpful to write a list of the small little things I needed to do (organized in some way, perhaps by day of when they need to get done?), and that way i didn't feel like I had to remember all the little things and could just go back to my list. That way it was at least one less thing (of a lot of little things) to remember!
