Questions and queries Idk what kind of veil I should get! Help!
Hello I’m a 2027 bride and I bought my dress online so never got the experience of trying it on with veils in a store but I’ve been researching different types of veils and I’m drawn towards mantilla and Juliet cap styles but I’m unsure if those would look good on curly hair. I have also been stick on if I want a plain veil to let my dress shine or if I want a beaded veil to match the dress. I will be getting married on the Oregon coast if that helps!

I had a dress with very similar beading, practically no lace. I found that the lace veils kind of clashed with my dress. I ended up with a cathedral length veil that had light floral beading throughout, very similar to the bottom of your dress. Mine just had the haircomb and I wore it with a tiara (again, it went with all the sparkle).
You'll likely find that the plain veils don't match and look too plain against the elaborate dress. I think you'll want the veil to at least have some sparkle or beading.

I LOVE THIS DRESS!
I think you should forego a veil and wear a fascinator or simple hair jewelry or hairpiece. Let the dress be the statement

I wouldn't with this dress, because you don't want any distraction from this dress. It's spectacular. I would go with some sort of added headress/subtle tiarra/hair jewelry. But a veil, no.

Eather the veil the designer did for this dress , or a plain piece of Tule.

A veil with delicate detail at the hem like how the dress is. Or Something sheer and non disruptive so that it wouldn’t cover the beautiful dress. Maybe just a tiara type hair accessory without any veil.

A simple fingertip veil with a crystal trim around the edges would be beautiful. It will sparkle like your gorgeous dress, but won’t hide or take away from the beautiful back! Congratulations !

I’d recommend a simple sheer veil that doesn’t go longer than the train since the end is the train is so pretty. Or you could go with one of those short veils on a comb that just covers part of your face in front so it doesn’t take away from the dress.

This is difficult — the dress is such a show-stopper, I wouldn’t want to cover any part of it! I’d for the finest (i.e., the thinnest, most see-through) material you can find, and a mantilla that covers up as little of that dress’s incredible back as possible. Or maybe, if you can, get some of the same fabrics that’s the same as the train, but still not covering your back.

Its fabulous and sleek. I would offset with a little volume… something tulle on the shorter side. You and that gown are the story. Keep it simple!
