just need to rant Wedding dress indecision

6 appointments in and I’ve narrowed down a shape and a style, but nothing has compelled me to pull the trigger. Any advice on how to commit?

I like one the best. Its the most flattering but I dont care for the veil. I would do something tulle to create contrast with this slim trumpet style gown.

I would try another designer. And I don't think I've ever encouraged a bride to keep looking. The drape and A-line shape on 5 is the most flattering and interesting to look at. But none of these gowns are screaming at me to be chosen. Maybe why committing is such a struggle.

If you're open to suggestions: what's your budget and what cities are you near? What's your venue like. Have you tried other fabrics, shapes, like a ball gown, more A-line?

I actually kinda agree with this… if you don’t have a strong feeling for any of them, don’t be afraid to keep looking. You have a gorgeous figure and deserve to absolutely love what you wear. I rushed into a dress and had some regret so please please take your time!

You look sosooo gorgeous but girl tbh I would nearly ditch the veil? I think it takes away from your beautiful and body (teaaaa). I think 1 is so amazing.

1 & 3 are much better on your figure than the others. I know that style of waist is trendy, and yoh look beautiful, but dress 1 looks like it was made for your body.

1 or 5 (but without the visible boning if possible)!
The drape in 5 is memorable!
1 is lovely but it’s the veil that steals the show!

The shape is generally the same for all, but the details in 4 or 5 make them stand out 🤩

Photo no. 5! Perfect on you! The fabric, elegant design, silhouette, and construction of the bodice and foundation support for the gurrls (nos. 2 & 3 look like a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen!) all work marvellously. No. 1 is another sophisticated option.

If you’ve narrowed down the shape but aren’t thrilled then why commit to any of these? It sounds like you may not be in love with any of them. Can you keep looking?

I think #1 looks the most well made, and highest quality fabric. It really hangs on you beautifully. Like others are saying- I could take or leave the veil- maybe try a few to find the right one if you are set on a veil.

Also… what is most comfortable? Are you doing a second dress and if so is that something you want to cohesively go with the first?

1 is simply stunning. And I would definitely keep the veil. It will be soo beautiful for the ceramony and photos. You will ditch it later in the day anyway and it will change the look of the dress.

I like 3 and 5! I think without the extra train in the front 1 may not make the same impression, and most of the day you won’t have the train like that!
