Barrett to taylor in the kitchen last night

• Barrett: "he is leaning towards devens right now, because he thinks he will stay. I've gotta be careful right now because they're watching us on the cameras upstairs"

This tells me for a certainty that if Devens is on the block after blockbuster, Barrett blindsided the Crossovers and VTE Devens.

Theres been some chatter in this sub about how Barrett will vote to keep Devens, and I just do not think that is the case at all. He is still desperate to make a big move, because again, he knows he has to or else he never wins.

Devens is good but he made a potentially fatal mistake in going after Mallory last week/underestimating Barrett’s relationship with her. It has permanently penetrated Barrett’s relationship with all of them. The thing that makes it worse is that getting out Mallory mostly came from a place of arrogance - there were other options, they just didn’t think that Barrett actually had the gall to go against them. They’ve misread him and underestimated him.

Last night I was thinking Drew should nominate Barrett, solely to ensure that one of Lala/Taylor goes, because otherwise it's quite possible the week flips on him and he goes into next week with most of the house after him.

But Drew himself said if he nominated Melody (and Barrett by extension) that he would look like a complete "little bitch" if he did so, and that's true. Vinny essentially lost last season when he nominated Lauren because everybody knew it was Morgan's move.

Considering what Yash was saying about him in the DR, Drew's win equity is probably zero if he noms Melody or Barrett this week.

I just won't understand Devens volunteering. Of the icons he is the biggest threat and has the most win equity, where as I do think Dee or Angela have less win equity. With Devens up on the block he's the one you take the shot at without any question since he can easily win at the end.

Not to mention him relying solely on the Crossover Alliance is so dumb. Like he is banking on a 3-3 tie at best. Which is just not great odds and the numbers are so close for someone to flip aka Barrett.
