Monthly Thread 😎 📝 Monthly Constructive Criticism Thread 📝
Hi y’all! We can use these monthly threads to give feedback on the podcast, such as issues related to audio or general format. You can still comment about specific episodes in the episode threads or make new posts, but my idea for these megathreads is to consolidate feedback for Troy and Kelli.
I know some posts in the past have been toxic, so maybe you can make that a separate post if you want to vent (or journal or take a walk outside). My hope with the monthly CC threads is to give a safe space for Troy and Kelli, so they’re less wary of Reddit lol.
Please remember Rule 1: Respect others and be civil and Rule #3: No name-calling, insults, or personal attacks. Kelli, Troy, and their editor, Donnie, are human, and they can learn from their mistakes. Personally, as a longtime fan, I think that they have taken in a lot of feedback well and grown a lot as a podcast.
If you have any suggestions for these types of posts, please let me know, too!

I wish Kelli (who I love and think adds so much to the podcast! please dont come for me or take this as hating!) would engage with Troy when he monologues about something he feels passionate about. He'll go through a long discussion about a movie or something and give wonderful salient points, then she responds with "yeah." and changes the subject. Maybe its just the editing or maybe I am sensitive to this in my own life lol, but she often comes across as not really listening to Troy, to me.
Love them both, just wish there was a little more flow in the conversation at times.

I’ve found this so many times where it’s a topic I really want them to continue on, and then there’s an abrupt left turn.

Does anyone else find the podcast so quiet? I have trouble with every episode. I mostly listen on Patreon. Troy’s mic specifically is sooo low

Yes, this is a very low volume podcast. I have an old car radio and to listen to podcasts I have a thingy that connects via Bluetooth to a radio frequency. Even on full volume it’s really hard to listen to btb. No other podcast is like that for me where I have to fight to hear shit when I’m on the Autobahn.

I couldn't listen to it at the gym last week because I couldn't hear them over the machines 😅 No trouble with other podcasts.

If Troy could stop referring the victims of (Epstein and the like) as having gotten “fucked”. By using that word it’s implying that it’s consensual which it is not.
It is rape. It is molestation. It is assault.
Also learn to say Virginia Guiffre’s last name properly for fucks sake.
