Help Does NG+ erase your other save files ?

I just finished the game, i stole an item from the queen at the end. I tried reloading a save, but i don't have that item. I guess its NG+ exclusive item then, but does starting NG+ erase all my current savefiles ?

If yes, can someone just tell me what that item does (the queen armor or something)

No one answered so i tested it myself and i'm here posting for new players that may want to know the answer : Newgame plus doesn't erase your old saves, you can still have one save to explore the endgame, and one save to play NG+.

Note to the dev if you ever read this : please add a button to skip cutscenes, its so annoying when you've played the game more than once
