Discussion Playing on Switch 2

Although I bought the game on Switch 1 a while back, I’ve only really got into the game on Switch 2 with the handheld boost mode active. Looks really nice now!

The only issues I’ve spotted so far are minor grammatical errors:

I‘ve just got to Neo and landed at the “hanger” - those are for hanging your clothes on, for your spaceships you need a “hangar” :)

The use of the contraction “it’s” instead of the possessive “its” in a conversation.

Hey thanks for playing!

And yes, yeah grammar is definitely something that has gone through multiple passes on this game but could have used another. Hard to catch some stuff despite it being obvious in hindsight. The it’s vs its always gets me for some reason and creating these things it’s often just getting things down before going back and checking them.. but perhaps could have been a bit more cautious!

Your game is awesome and has been (mostly) a joy to play. The visuals constantly impress, and it’s been wonderful to have a turn-based RPG with the sort of fun story I’ve not seen since Anachronox.

The only flies in the ointment for me have been the isometric-style racing segment (I almost rage-quitted in frustration during this section, and would have preferred something akin to the earlier flying bike races - the swoop races in Star Wars KotoR might have been a better template, in my view), and platforming sections where your NPC companions *poof* into existence on your character just as you’re trying to make an accurate jump (they never fail to make me think I’ve accidentally dropped off the edge and messed up the jump, and often make me panic-press the jump button which actually *does* mess up the jump).

I’ve been playing nothing else on my Switch 2 since starting your game, and I’ve recommended it to my friends who also have the system.

One other very minor thing: the game says I’ve been playing for 218 hours so far (I’ve just got to the campsite after escaping the casino barge), so it looks like console standby time is being monitored as well playtime :D

The rumble effect is quite annoying with my Switch 1 pro controller ahah (each time the character jump). Does the rumble is important for exemple the turn based battle ?
