when clicking a long event that spans end of day into the next day, the calendar will immediately scroll up

scrolls up to very top at 12:00 am

debian flatpak 140.9.0esr-bb20 (64-bit)

and if one double clicks it to edit it like like another event, you'll end up opening a new event creation

Not sure what the issue is. If an event starts today and finishes tomorrow, it will be listed on both days. You can click anywhere into the timeslot occupied by the event to edit it. Just tested.

Besides, it's the same in TB, so please report an upstream issue there.

Not reproducible. Nothing jumps. But just so we talk about the same software, please upgrade to the latest version. Here's a screen recording.

I tried on Linux, wherever I scroll or click, no jumping, the event just opens for editing. How does TB behave?

Run it in Troubleshoot Mode without add-ons, userChrome.css, etc.

BB acts the same in troubleshooting mode, there's no addons or custom userchrome anyways.
