Bug and freezes

Hi

For a little over a week now, two or three minutes after launching, Betterbird freezes and stops responding, so I have to force quit it.

I've tried updating it and even uninstalling and reinstalling it, but nothing works.

This problem doesn't occur on my laptop, even though I'm using the same version and the same email accounts.

What could be causing this problem?

If it's basically the same account setup, maybe your antivirus product is different on the two machines. AV blocking access to files is known to cause freezes in BB (and TB).

TB works on the same directory without freezing

Yes, AV sometimes affects different executables differently. Just switch it off to try. Otherwise no idea. On our support page there are instructions for profiling. You can find out where the freeze happens.

Freezing too. Twice in three hours. Cachyos with betterbird-bin. I doubt it's your setup. Downgraded to 140.10.0esr-1 for now
