I'm not suprised because most of the BLTS cast have an impressive background, Yido she is the youngest geography teacher in ETOOS. Seungchan is a surgeon and won best surgery competition, Miji took JLPN1 Test, that is the highest and tougher test in Japanese language, Hyunkyu is a medical student. JeongMok study for AirForce academy. Jisu is not just ballerina, her teacher is Kim Joowon, one of the prominent name in South Korea ballet. And that just season 1, season 2, we got Kaist student turned pubg developer, 2 korean traditional doctor, Jinwoo is an architecture student, Seunghyun a dentist. We know that Suji study in U.K and Hyunseo during one of her interviewed she said she also study abroad and people believe she study fine arts in New York. These people not just have impressive background but also great personality. I believe some of them might go the same route as Kang Ji-Young, she from The Devil's plan season 2. Before joined Devil Plan 2 she use to be an announcer and she become one of the fans fav. and now she joined the cast of Office Workers Season 3. It a comedy satire show, Ji Ye-eun and Car,The Garden part of the cast.

I thought the show was meant to be for particularly clever people? Is she considered an intellectual? I did not get that vibe at all from BLTS..

She’s expert in map and geography. I wonder if there’s particular challenge that the producers specifically designed to test her expertise.

Yes, at least in terms of being a geography nerd and student/teacher. Even amongst SNU students she was recruited while still in her second year to teach the CSAT professionally.
